Chennai Express Box Office Report :- Chennai Express set up new record on opening day starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Not only in domestic it had the recorded opening day world wide. There was a great rush of people around every cinema hall for watching this movie. Chennai Express is action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. In the movie Deepika Padukone as Meenalochni Azhagusundaram and Shahrukh Khan as Rahul Mithaiwala. The movie is produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan are seen together on screen after their super hit “Om Shanti Om”.

After the record opening Chennai Express can break more records by its weekend collection. Everywhere there was rush at ticket counters on second day too. Chennai Express collected very well in paid previews on Thursday. According to Box Office India, the total collections of the Hindi version were around 6 cr. , movie was able to surpass the previous record held by 3 Idiots. The film's Hindi version was able to collect INR 29.25 crore (US$4.9 million) on its first day, thus making it the second highest Hindi opening day of all time behind Ek Tha Tiger.

Chennai Express Friday Second Day Box Office Report

The film on its opening day alone has earned whooping 33.10 crores, beating all previous highest opening day record. With that the film’s total income already rests at 39.85 crores, adding the film’s collections from its preview shows. This movie have beaten all the record of opening day collection. This movie will have a huge weekend collection

Chennai Express Third Day Box Office Report (Saturday) 

With the loving response in two days i.e. on Thursday and Friday the film received the greatest response on Saturday too. Occupancy of 90% has measured and show was seem house full in all the theater of India.

Chennai Express got more than expected opening collecting pf Rs 32 crores and on second day it collected Rs 27 crores (approx) at the domestic box office. It surely got benefited from Eid holiday and second Saturday holidays. The total collection of Chennai Express stand out to be Rs 67 crores (approx). Chennai Express will have fabulous first week. It is expected that movie will break and make some more record too.
